BRANDAID - March 4, 2010

The inaugural Gift Horse Project show was held at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, CA on March 4, 2010. In cooperation with Creative Visions Foundation, 100% of this Gift Horse Project show's proceeds went to BRANDAID - a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to aid artisans from developing countries. Specifically, proceeds were donated to support Haitian relief efforts and those local artisans effected by the January 12th earthquake.

The musicians and artists who participated in this special evening were as follows: Luke Rathborne, Rain Phoenix, Antony Langdon, Mark McAdam, Angela McCluskey, Paul Cantelon, Dermot Mulroney, Norm Block, Kirk Hellie, Dave Palmer, Chris Tucci, and A.J. Mason.

Silverlake Conservatory of Music - April 30, 2010

The second GHP event was held Friday, April 30th at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. 100 percent of the proceeds went to the Silverlake Conservatory of Music in support of the scholarship programs they offer their young at-risk students.

In support of Art of Elysium's "Elysium Sessions", Gift Horse Project performed their final event of 2010. The 2-set musical collaboration, along with a silent auction, was held at Los Angeles' famed Largo Theater.

Gift Horse Project and Manimal Vinyl Records are happy to present COOL FOR SCHOOL: For the Benefit of The Lunchbox Fund. The album curated by Gift Horse Project founder Rain Phoenix, brings together an eclectic group of pivotal artists covering "school themed" songs.

100% of the profits go to The Lunchbox Fund charity. Founded by Topaz Page-Green in 2005, The Lunchbox Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a daily meal for disadvantaged and at-risk students in South African township high schools.
